New year, new office planting

January is the time when most of us start taking stock of our lives and thinking about ways to improve ourselves. On a personal level we tend to think about our health be it trying to get fit or cutting out the things that are bad for us. Essentially we want to look & feel better. In our work life it is also a time for taking stock and looking for ideas on how to improve our business and finding ways to cut costs.

If something in the work place is not adding to your environment then now is a good time to let it go. In the case of office plants if they look good and are well cared for they are a great addition to the workplace. If they are wilted, badly-aged or unhealthy it is time to replace them. Ill plants suggest a wasteful attitude and reflect badly on your company. Your plants are in the public eye – Poor plant care creates an impression of general neglect that can reduce staff productivity and turn off customers.

So when it comes to office plants make a new resolution for 2013:

[hr_dot width=”auto”]

– Maintain your indoor plants by keeping them watered, fed, pruned. This can be done by someone (with some know-how) in the office. The cost: their time.

– Get your plants professionally maintained. Professional plant care will ensure your plants look good, but will involve a pricey maintenance contract.

– Invest in some maintenance-free Mummie Plants. Preserved indoor plants will save you money and retain their vitality for years, projecting a positive healthy image of your company at all times.
